SIRIS Cephalopod Bibliography Online Service

<< Cephalopod Articles

Those wishing to know more about cephalopods and who are willing to delve into scientific papers are encouraged to use SIRIS (Smithsonian Institution Research Information System). This data base has entries for over 4500 publications on cephalopods and cephalopod-related subjects that are kept by the Division of Mollusks, NMHM (Smithsonian). Most entries are in English and it sometimes takes a while for recent papers to be entered. The database is maintained by Clyde Roper, Michael Sweeney, and Michael Vecchione. Reprints of articles that are not in the database are requested.

You can first go to their Main Page or Search Catalogs directly.

You may also find CephBase's Reference Database easier to use. It is wise to use both tools as each have their strong points.
